Hannah Akins

Hannah Blair Akins was born and raised in flowery Greensboro, North Carolina, where she developed an adoration for nature, music, poetry, and philosophy. Inspired by her father’s avant-garde paintings and sculptures and her grandparents’ rich involvement in art, theater, and costume design, Hannah began drawing and painting at a young age, and soon developed an intense interest in film.

Hannah is pursuing a career in screenwriting and filmmaking, focusing on the synthesis of film and pragmatic philosophy. She was granted the 2019 Creative Achievement Award for her efforts in filmmaking and screenwriting.
