James Jefferies


James Jefferies is the Programmer and Program Coordinator for Aspen Shortsfest, one of the top venues for short films in the United States, and the Aspen Film Fest. Before joining Aspen Film in 2014, James covered local stories and wrote social media content for the non-profit Downtown Tucson Partnership, while he co-directed, wrote, and produced an animated pilot for cable television’s Adult Swim, after successful stints at Mandeville Films and CONAN. He also produced a Foto-Kem New Filmmaker Award-winning thesis film to cap a year in which he was named the School of Theatre, Film & Television’s Outstanding Senior at the University of Arizona, upon graduation in 2011.
