Jeff Yanc

Jeff Yanc is currently the Program Director at The Loft Cinema and co-director of the annual Loft Film Fest. He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in Media Arts from the University of Arizona, where he also served as an adjunct professor in film history. His writing on cinema has appeared in film journals such as The Velvet Light Trap and Cinemad, and he is co-producer/co-host of the podcast, The Many Rules of Film Club. He In 2015 he was the recipient of the David Hoyt Johnson Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Arts, presented by the Tucson Pima Arts Council.

Tanya De Angelis

Tanya De Angelis is an Arizona native who now resides in Salt Lake City, where she leads the Sundance Institute Archives & Collection, which preserves and shares the rich history of Sundance Institute and the work of its supported artists. The Archives & Collection houses more than 2.5 million assets, from press kits to posters, films to photos, scripts to scores, and more. A passion for storytelling, preservation, and access has guided Tanya’s educational and professional pursuits, earning a BA and MA in Media Arts and MA in Library and Information Science from the University of Arizona.

Neal Edelstein

Neal Edelstein

Neal Edelstein is an award-winning independent film producer. A native of Chicago, he began his film career in Los Angeles in the early 1990s. In 1997, Edelstein produced David Lynch’s segment in the French film Lumiere and Company, shot with the original Lumiere brothers’ camera. Edelstein and Lynch subsequently became partners in The Picture Factory, where Edelstein produced The Straight Story and Mulholland Drive.

Following Mulholland Drive, Edelstein formed Macari/Edelstein Filmed Entertainment with New Line Cinema executive Mike Macari. Their first project was the American remake of the Japanese horror film The Ring. Other credits include Fractured, directed by Brad Anderson and starring Sam Worthington, Shelter, starring Julianne Moore, and most recently the Michael Shannon vehicle Night’s End for Shudder/AMC.

In 2017 Edelstein launched his production company Crow Island Films to focus on film, television and new media.
