Kat Kones
Kat Kones is a Memphis-borne black female filmmaker who has been in the arts since she was a child. From Memphis theater to Arizonian filmmaking, she has a desire to properly represent her community through documentary, fantasy, (science) fiction, and horror. Her recent work includes the documentary The Sun Goes Down In Tempe, which exposes the dark history of racism and segregation in Tempe’s sundown town.
