Mateo Siegel grew up a humble Arizona kid with nothing but a dream. Sadly, after finding out that being a Jedi was not a “real” job, he was forced to part ways with that dream. Instead, he decided to pursue a career in the arts, which is pretty much the same thing if you don’t think about it too much. Mateo grew up in a family that loved the arts, often citing his parents as the reason why he fell in love with movies and music in the first place. After receiving his first camera as a child, he fell in love with filmmaking and began working on stop motion, comedy, and action films (all of which got snubbed at the 2007 Oscars). Mateo plans on voyaging to L.A after his graduation to pursue his love of Sound Design.
