Reaching the point of disillusionment in life that can only drive one to film school, Ashley Courter discovered her passion for directing and telling stories about characters who are vulnerable and often strange. In 2024, Ashley directed the Brian Michael Bendis documentary Anyone Can Wear the Mask, which she followed with the horror short film, Stuffed, that featured in the 2025 Magic Hour Showcase.
