Geen Lee
Geen Lee is a transgender woman filmmaker and director from South Korea. Growing up as part of a underrepresented group, and seeing the small amount of stories related to her experience, she believes that everyone deserves to have their story told. Geen seeks to tell stories that will speak for underrepresented groups, the type of stories she couldn’t have growing up. Since then her work is often very artistically involved with lots of care and thoughtful dedication put behind every story choice. In every project she works in she maintains a lighthearted, hard working, and highly collaborative attitude.
