Gael Baup

Born and raised in France, Gael Baup has been making films since the age of 10 as a way to express his ideas and connect with others. As a once-introverted kid, filmmaking was his bridge to friendships and ever-growing creative ambitions. His first short film was a space adventure, inspired by his lifelong fascination with the vastness of the universe and humanity’s place within it. Over the years, he honed his skills in visual effects, allowing him to bring his most ambitious visions to life. Now, with The Glass Planet, he brings to the screen a film that his 10-year-old self would have never thought possible a testament to passion, persistence, and the belief that no dream is too big.
