Philip Summers

Philip Summers is a Texas native who began his filmmaking career in 2017 with his first short, Pizza Guy, after a childhood of loving movies. He moved to Tucson in 2021 to study film at the University of Arizona where he has gotten the opportunity to work on 50+ films over the past four years, as well as continuing to write and direct his own films via his homegrown production company and YouTube Channel Bloody Katana Studios. With a passion for costuming, props, set design, and practical fight scenes, Philip plans to seek out a career involving multiple areas of physical production.
